So I have several quests that I’m working on while in Sydney and one of the lesser ones is to find the best Chinese BBQ Pork. Maybe after I finish this quest, I’ll move onto the best duck, but one type of meat at a time is more than enough. Today’s entrant was Emperor’s Garden BBQ & Noodles located a little past Paddies’ Market. I always like to see what I’m going to eat advance and I think if a shop takes pride in displaying there wares like this, then you can determine how much food they serve in a day, the care that take in their product, the uniformity of the BBQ, etc.
There is a take away window if you want to grab and go.
Exhibit A: My half finished Hot and Sour Soup. The ingredients were top notch with small shrimp, slices of BBQ pork, sliced red and green peppers, tofu. Excellent flavor and very rich and filling. Exhibit B: The BBQ Pork on rice. Good flavor, would have liked a slightly crisper outer coating and a little less fat, for my tastes.
