Lisa’s Sister had arrived on Friday morning from the states and Lisa and I had been keeping her busy for the next two days. She had had one request before heading over in that she wanted to do a walk about. Lisa eventually explained to her before her arrival that a walk about was a couple of months in the outback and not likely to be accomplished over a long weekend. But a bush walk might work and I was willing to take her on one this past Sunday. Alas, a bunch of rain fell Late Saturday and early Sunday, so we moved away from plan A which would have been a muddy mess with most likely bloodied knees from sliding off of rocks, and towards plan B.
Place B was walk on mostly paved bush trails around the South Head and then along the coast towards Bondi Beach with the Tasman Sea to the east.
Eventually after many steep hikes up and down, hills, cliffs, World War II bunkers, and Jetlag started to take its toll on Julie and her calves started to wear down.
Once we got back to the apartment, she went to bed at 7pm.
