Being a parent when you are visiting Thailand on vacation is tough work! Bucket drinks…full Moon parties…beautiful beaches…crazy Aussie’s at the bar…. Douglas and I took my 3 kids, my future son-in-law Eric and my godchild, ‘Baby Sean’ to Thailand for 7 days in the summer of 2005. I have lots of fond memories of this trip but a couple of my favorites:
- We stayed at the Peninsula Hotel http://bangkok.peninsula.com/en/default in Bangkok and I requested they bring up a cot for Sean since there were not enough beds…they brought up a baby bed…
- Douglas trying to get all of the kids on the same boat back to Koh Samui after the full moon party! Note: Bucket drinks are not appropriate for kids of any age.
- Death marches in 100 degree heat to local temples and the Grand Palace.
